A Windy Landing

Hot air balloons are lined up for landing on a windy morning during Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. The balloon in the foreground had just landed and the balloon itself was being blown around, draging the gondola along with it. NOTE: No major edits were made to this photo in post.

Balloon Shadow

Lines of balloons are being guided to their stopping points after landing during the 2014 Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. This shot was taken from in the long shadow of one of the distant yellow balloons and exposure set to the expose the foreground balloons in bright light. NOTE: Contrast was increased and highlights (the background) was dimmed in post to more acurately reflect the scene at hand when the photo was taken.

Dawn Patrol 2013

The Dawn Patrol is all set for takoff on an absolutely clear and serene morning at the 2013 Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. The red white and blue balloon in the foreground is not burning at the time of this exposure, instead it is lit by a balloon that is "Glowing" from behind the camera's vantage point. NOTE: Overall exposure was increased by one stop to makeup for underexposure at the time the photo was taken and the highlights were dimmed slightly as well to more acurately reflect the scene as observed.
