North Peak Clouds

Last light falls on North Sandia Peak. This is one of only a few panoramic images I have created. It is a combination of four images stiched together side by side, each taken with a 70mm lense. This allows for detail to be seen across the breadth of the North Sandia Crest and the ominous clouds above as last sunlight hits the crest.

Sandia Sunset Clouds

Gorgeous clouds are lit up by the last rays of the setting sun; a rare occurance that I was lucky to be able to photograph. NOTE: A one stop soft GND filter was used to darken the above the horizon portion of the image and more closely bring it in line with the scene that evening. Other than that no major adjustments were made, contrast was increased slightly.

South Peak Clouds

Clouds stream over North Sandia Peak and towards South Sandia Peak. The photo was taken from North Peak facing south towards South Sandia Peak.

Evening Ride

North Peak Moonrise

The moon rises over North Sandia Peak. Photo taken from hiking trail near La Cueva, Albuquerque NM at 400mm. NOTE: No major alterations were made to this photograph. Highlights were decrease in intensity a bit to increase the detail seen in the moon that evening.
